Can Republicans trick Dems into voting for an idiot?

Alvin Greene won the SC Dem primary with no campaign and no advertising. Pres advisor Axelrod calls it suspicious when an unknown black man, with no experience, suspicious funding, no qualifications could win a primary....[who is BHO?]. Dems claim this is a Republican trick. The key to Greene's victory is that he got more votes. How do liberals imagine Republicans pulled that off? Mesmerize the Democrats into voting for an idiot? If they could do that, John McCain would be president. Greene won more cleanly than BHO, don't you think?
