What is a boycott? I've heard it so many times.?

Its basically protesting in something that u think should be done. Like say you don't like that taco bells food is the lowest grade of meat then u get a whole bunch of people that protest and you don't eat that food. It's like with Martin Luther king jr and the blacks not taking the buses because rosa parks got arrested for unwilling to give up her seat to a white man
