What if we get rid of medical and science for 5 years, and pray instead?

Why would you want to do this? If God has given you the means to live a better life, why wouldn't you take that opportunity be it from medical science or other? So let's just say this did happen though. Would billions die? Certainly not. But millions probably. The since the introduction of modern medicine, the life expectancy has risen greatly. Not just longer lives though. Happier lives free of disease, pain, and disabilities. This IS contributing to overpopulation, but it is no better a solution than war to solve that problem. As intelligent humans, we have a responsibly to come up with a more intelligent solution.
