Does the cost of Obama's vacation seem excessive or not?

It is my understanding that all of the other current day Presidents of the United States, have all done the same. THEY JUST DIDN'T ADVERTISE THEIR VACATIONS, THE COSTS, etc. This is why, President Obama was begrudged when he took his vacation. The 'other guys' just didn't tell us when they flew here or there. Because we are experiencing hard economic times, quite naturally, our countrymen don't want to hear about our President going on vacation. What makes matters worse, is the publication of an estimated cost for these trips. Otherwise, he is doing no differently from the other Presidents of the United States.
