What do you think of this Arizona official says ethnic studies violates law?

The lesson plan was full of hate speech/lies. Mexicans are the descendants of the Spaniards, the people who stole the land from the Native Americans. That little fact helped win us Americans (the British colonists) support during the Mexican-American War. MY ancestors did not speak Spanish, and neither do I. The Spanish arrived in 1492. By the time the British arrived in 1607, over a century later, only 10% of the Native Americans were left. Mestizos are simply a mixture of Spaniard and Native American. THEIR ancestors (the Spaniards) are the land thieves, not mine, and this class was teaching them to steal the same land again. By the time ancient Rome was conquered, it was so nationally diverse that it was partially conquered from the inside.
